Early testers
Test Griotta with the founder.
I'm Julien. I build Griotta, a pause at the moment money moves. Before anything public, I'm taking 20 testers who shop online and want a moment back. You use Griotta normally for three weeks and tell me the truth about it. That's the whole deal.
What Griotta is, and is not
When you reach a real checkout or open a shopping app, Griotta pauses for a short moment. Then you decide: walk away, plan it for later, or buy it now. All three are valid. Griotta is not a blocker, not a budgeting app, and it never judges a purchase. It also never makes money when you buy or when you don't. No affiliates, no ads, ever.
What testing involves
- Install Griotta on Chrome (computer), iPhone, or both.
- Shop like you normally do. Don't change anything.
- A 15-minute chat (or voice notes) once a week for three weeks: where the pause helped, where it fired stupidly, where it annoyed you.
- In exchange: Griotta is free for you, forever, and you shape what it becomes.
You're a fit if
- You buy something online most weeks that you didn't plan to.
- You use Chrome on a computer and/or an iPhone.
- You can spare 15 honest minutes a week.
Privacy, absolutely
The Chrome extension makes zero network requests. It never sends or stores what you browse or buy, and there is no account. On iPhone, the apps you choose stay private on your device through Apple Screen Time. Griotta never receives which apps you select, the merchant, cart, or item.

Subject "Griotta tester". Tell me: how often you impulse-buy online, whether you're on Chrome, iPhone, or both, and anything you've already tried against impulse spending. I reply personally.
iPhone: Griotta is on the App Store. The Chrome extension link goes out to accepted testers first, then lands here once it's public.
